There is a rising epidemic among today’s women.

It’s this unrelenting voice that has taken up permanent residence inside their heads. It traps them behind a mound of fear bigger than their laundry piles, and grows at the same mad pace. You may be familiar with the voice, the one that says, “You don’t measure up.” They try to break free from it, but the voice feels strong. It’s like the strength that pulls the spatula from the bowl of just mixed brownie batter to your mouth kind of strong…

The voice convinces you that you're..

Your past if full of deep regrets, what will people think when they find out?”

It constantly reminds you that you will never be good enough.

“You should take your flaws and shrink back to the sidelines where you belong.”

About Me

I'm Lisa Goins, the Un-Pastors Wife.

Having not grown up in church I was completely un-groomed for the ministry and had a past that lisa_headshotrivaled most Bad Girls of the bible, which is how the self-title The Un-Pastors Wife came to be. I consider it nothing short of a miracle that I have a platform to speak into women’s lives on a regular basis.

I have been married and in the ministry for 25 years and my husband and I currently serve as Senior Pastors of Faith Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. After overcoming a paralyzing fear of public speaking combined with mountain-sized insecurity issues rooted from a difficult past, I been speaking publicly and have done so for the past 15 years.

I come alive when speaking as I see women move beyond their deep regrets & insecurities and make a decision to show up for their new life, the one full of God given potential and unlimited possibilities in Christ Jesus. And coffee, I also come alive with coffee.
